Business Lawsuit

A business lawsuit is a civil lawsuit in which a customer or other person is suing a business for a specific failure. It may be an injury lawsuit, a malpractice lawsuit or another type of situation in which the individual charges that the business failed to provide the services as required or otherwise was negligent in the treatment of the individual in some way. Most business lawsuits are handled by the professional insurance, or liability insurance, of the business. In these situations, no criminal charges are the focus of the lawsuit. Rather, the plaintiff's goal is to find obtain a settlement award from the business or its insurance company to compensate for the damage.
