Lawsuit Attorney

A lawsuit attorney is a licensed professional who has the ability to bring a trial to court. Most lawsuits are filed in civil court, where the plaintiff, or the person who has been injured in some way, is bringing a lawsuit against a business or person who they believe is responsible. It is the job of the attorney to represent one side of this dispute and if possible to work out a settlement or an agreement out of court rather than in court. Should the lawsuit go to trial, the attorney will represent their party in a court of law, often providing evidence and facts to support their party's claims. The goal is often for the lawsuit attorney to reach a settlement for their party or to defend against a settlement if they are the defendant's attorney.
